The founder

I am Philip Hammermann , digital & print media designer.

In 2023, I completed my apprenticeship but couldn't find a permanent job – and at the same time, I saw how difficult it is to get plus-size streetwear under fair conditions, while fast fashion exploits the environment and people .

There's a better way . That's why I founded the Philip Hammermann brand.

The idea:

Sustainable, high-quality fashion at fair conditions and prices – a benchmark for what is possible today without anyone being left out.

The mission:

I'm starting with limited drops on certified blanks (sizes XS–5XL). Every piece sold funds the next step until we can offer our own patterns and even larger sizes – consistently, fairly, and sustainably .

*As a young startup, we are only permitted to display the seal once we have our own production lines audited or once we have achieved a certain level of sales. Until then, we only use pre-certified blanks.

By 2030 we want

  • launch their own, specially tailored plus-size ranges for women and men,
  • produce completely certified ourselves,
  • establish a community that celebrates learning, sharing and helping as much as good hoodies.
